GED Davies and Brian Klass from Natural Resources Wales (NRW) will be the guest speakers at the next NFU Cymru Pembrokeshire meeting on Thursday, March 5.
Held at Agriculture House, Haverfordwest at 8pm, NFU Cymru members are invited to come along to hear Ged Davies and Brian Klass give an update on the review of the nutrient status of the Milford Haven which is currently being undertaken by NRW. The review will consider Nitrate and Phosphate inputs into the Haven and has potentially serious implications for the agricultural industry within the Cleddau River’s catchment area, including possible recommendation as a Nitrate Vulnerable Zone (NVZ).
Simon Richards, Pembrokeshire NFU Cymru County Chairman, said: “This meeting is open to all members and I do hope we will get a good turnout.”
