THE current warm, wet weather following the recent cold spell has resulted in a Nematodirus disease outbreak in Wales, according to the Sustainable Control of Parasites in Sheep organisation.
Most lambs over a month of age will be at risk unless they are grazing new pastures or have been wormed very recently.
The recommendation is to treat with a Benzimadazole (white) wormer as soon as possible to avoid what could be significant losses.
