The top price was for a cow and calf from D William Jenkins, Neuadd-yr-Ynys, Taliesin, Machynlleth. Neuadd Gwenno 137th was sired by Ynysfor William 4th and out of Neuadd Gwenno 116th. She sold with her 1 month old calf to Mr HB Evans, Cwm y Glo, Caernarfon for 1950gns.
Champion Female was sold by Mr William Jones, Ysguboriau, Tywyn. Ysguboriau Vera 80th, born March 2014, had been running with Ynysfor William 7th and sold for 1600gns to Mr LLew Jones, Bridin, Anglesey.
The Champion Maiden Heifer was Mynach Rhian 26th from A &RC Williams, Pentre, Bala. Born July 2015 and sired by Bodig Cai 50th, she sold for 1400gns to D R Bowen, Molleston, Narberth.
Reserve Champion Female Ysguboriau Dwynwen 145th, born April 2014 and running with Ynysfor William 7th. She sold for 1800gns to Mr LLew Jones, Bridin, Anglesey.
The Reserve Champion Maiden Heifer Hafodesgob Agnes 70th was sired by Caran Deryn Du and was unsold.
Mr D William Jenkins sold a cow and calf for 1480gns to MA &A Watkins, Ceunant, Llanfihangel, Llanfyllin.
Messrs A & R C Williams sold Mynach Rhian 25th for 1300gns to Mr D R Bowen, Narberth.
Mrs Gwenfair Jones & Sons, Hafod-yr-Esgob, Bala sold Hafodesgob Agnes 69th, sired by Graig-Goch Berwyn 59th, to Mr E Thomas, Nantganol, Oswestry for 1100gns.
Mr William Davies, Brynglas, Aberystwyth sold Coedllys Avril 14th for 1000gns to Mr M A & A Watkins, Llanfyllin.
Mr Mike Parry Jones sold Bryn Moel Marian 2nd, in-calf to Caerberllan Banner 4th, for 950gns to Mr LL Roberts, Waterloo Service Station.
A young heifer, Deicws Hanna 14th, from Mr GC Williams, Tyddyn Deicws, Abergele, born December 2015, sold for 950gns to Mr LLew Jones, Bridin, Anglesey.
Two ‘Gwarcwm’ bred cows were sold by Mr G Wilson, Pen y Banc, Newtown. They sold for 950gns to Messrs Davies a’i Feibion, Parc, Bala.
