AN engineering student from Pembrokeshire has received the Alamo Group Scholarship worth £2,500 at Harper Adams University.
Thomas Evans, 20, from Haverfordwest, is studying for an MEng in agricultural engineering.
“I’m thrilled to have received this award by the Alamo Group," he said..
“The funding will help to contribute towards my agricultural engineering degree by contributing to transport costs while looking for a placement. I’ll also use the scholarship to develop further my land-based skills and potentially purchase a new laptop.
“After graduation, I’d like to achieve chartered status as an agricultural engineer and develop a successful career in this industry.”
