THE Wales Federation of YFC sports day at Aberystwyth University gave YFC members from all over Wales the opportunity to come together and participate in sporting activities in order to improve their skills and their overall fitness.
During the day, more than 200 young people representing county federations from across Wales competed in the Wales YFC rounders, five-a-side football and netball competition finals.
Ceredigion excelled in the football competition taking 1st position along with Meirionnydd girls being successful in the netball and after a close rounders competition, Radnor came out on top taking first place.
Katie Davies, Wales YFC’s competitions Chairman said: “It was a pleasure to see so many members competing and enjoying themselves in all three competitions this year in Aberystwyth on Sunday. Huge congratulations to all who competed, especially to those that came out on top."
