Competing at the Wales YFC competitions weekend at Builth Wells last month the team representing the Pembrokeshire Federation came away with almost half of the trophies also gaining most points overall in both the main English and Welsh public speaking sections.

Several other Wales YFC area events have had to be rearranged, due to adverse weather conditions, and Llysyfran were placed third when the English language panto was eventually staged at Port Talbot.

Hermon will represent the county in the Welsh panto which is now scheduled for Brecon on April 15.

The Federation’s annual Field Day is to take place at Spittal next Saturday, April 7, to be followed by a dance a Clarbeston Road in the evening when this year’s Rally Queen and attendants will be selected –the County Rally is to take place on the County Showground at Haverfordwest on Saturday, May 26.
