Ploughmen from ploughing societies across Wales gathered at Bancyfelin, near St Clears, recently for the South and West Wales 3-2-1 trophies presentations.
Senior champion for the second year was Gordon Harries from South Pembs Ploughing Society while Morgan Evans from the West Gower society took the junior title.
Gordon will be ploughing for Wales in the European Vintage Championships in Scotland next October in the vintage trailer class.
Ploughmen compete for the awards over 11 ploughing society matches across the season. The 3-2-1 points system gives three points to the match winner, two to the second-placed and one for third place.
Chairman of the host Carmarthenshire society Hugh Richards welcomed all to the dinner at the Fox and Hounds.
