A CRYMYCH motorist has been fined and his licence endorsed after pleading guilty to careless driving.
Colin Thomas Hume, aged 50, was driving a Toyota Corolla on the A487 at Southgate Road, Aberystwyth on August 19 when he ran into the back of another vehicle which was stationary on the approach to a roundabout.
As a result of the collision, the driver and passenger in the other vehicle sustained slight injuries and both vehicles were damaged.
Hume admitted driving without due care and attention and was fined £76 and his driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
