A DRINK-driver who was caught at Llechryd has been banned from the roads for 18 months.
Sarah Pearce, of Norton Road, Penygroes, Llanelli, was driving a Peugeot 207 on the A484 Cardigan to Llechryd road on January 26. She had 67 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to drink-driving when she appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre and as well as the 18-month ban, Pearce was also fined £140, along with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
