Guilsfield Show Committee’s final event of 2022 will take place later this month in the form of a charity tractor run.

Scheduled to be held on September 18, the tractors will start their journey by leaving Maeaglyn Farm in Meifod at approximately 9.30am.

A Show spokesperson said “We have had a fantastic year so far with both locals and those from further afield supporting our range of events over the summer and we are hoping for a bumper turn out for the Tractor Run.

“After a three-year absence we have a new route and a new venue for lunch which will give participants some of the finest views of the local countryside.

“Following teas, coffee, cake and a raffle at the start we will proceed across the local area before taking lunch and then departing again for the return trip.

“Proceeds from the event support our Presidents chosen Charities of the year, Lingen Davies Cancer Fund and the RJAH Orthopaedic League of Friends (Welshpool Branch) and we hope local famers and those interested in tractors will give us their support.”
