ANOTHER company has invited workers affected by the expected closure of The 2 Sisters Food Group on Anglesey to apply for jobs.

Cymorth Llaw Ltd, a Bangor based company which provides Domiciliary and Complex Care at home services, is offering potential candidates, connected to the factory in Llangefni, the opportunity of potential employment.

Joseph Heler Cheese, who acquired The Cheshire Cheese Company (CCC) last November, are also offering potential jobs. 

In a statement on social media, Cymorth Llaw said: "Following the recent announcement that 2 Sisters Poultry Ltd are to begin consultation in relation to the closure of their Llangefni site, Cymorth Llaw Ltd would like to offer any potential candidates an opportunity to offer employment any staff members who may live in the Anglesey and Gwynedd area.

"This of course has come a shock to many and we hope that this may offer some hope to those who may be affected by these changes.

"Cymorth Llaw Ltd provides a range of services to a varied client group within North West Wales region. The care we provide enables individuals to remain independent in their own home and surroundings."

Joseph Heler Cheese, who acquired The Cheshire Cheese Company (CCC) last November, are also offering potential jobs to 2 Sisters workers, if they are willing to travel. 

Heler Foods Packing which is located in Minffordd, a village situated betweem Porthmadog and Penrhyndeudraeth, posted on Facebook: "In light of the recent news that 2 Sisters Poultry Ltd are beginning staff consultations in relation to closing their Anglesey site, we would like to take this opportunity to offer support and potential job opportunities to the effected [sic] employees within the local community of Gwynedd and surrounding areas.

"Here at Heler Foods Packing, (Minffordd) due to business growth we are on the look out for talent from the food industry whether that be at operative, supervisory or management level."

More than 700 workers could be out of jobs if the closure of 2 Sisters goes ahead.
