Llaeth Derlwyn on Derlwyn Farm near Pontarsais north of Carmarthen is expanding its vending business to include Golden Hooves.

Golden Hooves offers a range of dairy foods produced by farmers following regenerative principles, aimed at nourishing the earth every day.

Farm owners Hefin and Beth Gibbon are two of those farmers. Their 140 cows at Derlwyn Farm supply the milk used to make Golden Hooves products.

“We are excited to be bringing Golden Hooves to our vending business,” said Hefin. “The cheese is made from the best quality milk produced by cows grazing our pastures.”

The name Golden Hooves comes from the action of the cows’ hooves helping to nourish the soil and protect the land while creating the best food.

Golden Hooves milk and cheese will be available 24 hours a day alongside the existing Llaeth Derlwyn products offering brands with the same ethos on the farm just off the A485 between Pontarsais and Alltwallis.

Golden Hooves is backed by a co-operative of dairy farmers committed to protecting nature, looking after their cows and offering the best food for local communities to buy directly from the people producing it.

“Golden Hooves farmers are committed to making wholesome foods which are as good for the planet as they are for us,” adds Beth.
