THE latest fundraiser for the Llanwrtyd Wells Community Play Park Project will take place next month.
Dolwen Field will host a tractor run on Sunday, August 6th from 10.30am with all enthusiasts asked to register from 8.30am at a cost of £10 per vehicle.
Any age tractor, 4x4 or road vehicle is acceptable but each must be road worthy and insured.
Refreshments will be available to purchase at the start with the run finishing at Belle Vue Hotel where food will be available.
Meanwhile, Llanwrtyd Wells Community Play Park Project committee has thanked the support of the town’s former scout group.
A spokesman said: “We would like to thank the trustees of the former Llanwrtyd Wells Scout Group for donating the remaining balance, of their bank account, to our cause.
“They wished the money to be used for another project for the young people of the town.”
“We are all very grateful for your generosity.”
The group was formed in 2022 with the aim of raising funds to update the town’s play park.
