A LARGE herd of adventurous cows were spotted in a north Wales village on Monday morning enjoying their bank holiday.
The cattle appeared on Church Street in Rhostyllen, Wrexham, at approximately midday roaming the streets and appearing to be enjoying themselves.
Mike Hanmer, a nearby resident, said: "The issue was resolved shortly after I posted the video when the cows were rounded up and moved away. I have no idea where they came from."
Mike shared a video of the herd on social media captioned 'Not what you'd expect to see on a Bank Holiday Monday.'
Gaz Evans commented on the post and said: "They just stopped at ours for a brew. Luckily they had milk."
Pauline Norgrove said: "They have had fun all over the village this morning."
Many others shared their amusement while being reassurred that they have now safely returned to where they belong.
