The Royal Welsh Winter Fair has issued travel advice after flooding from Storm Bert.
The Royal Welsh Winter Fair, one of the main events in the calendar for farming communities in Wales, has also been affected by the weather after multiple road closures.
The Winter Fair which is happening November 25-26 at the Royal Welsh Showground is currently being affected by the flooding this morning caused by Storm Bert.
The Royal Welsh Society who run the event have given advice for drivers trying to attend as main roads in the area have been affected by overnight rain.
In a post online a spokesperson for the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society said: "If you’re traveling today, please allow extra time and drive carefully.
"Visitors coming from the Carmarthen direction: Please turn at Beulah and continue via Newbridge-on-wye to avoid affected areas.
"Parking remains unaffected at this time, but we are closely monitoring public car parks for any potential issues ahead of tomorrow.
"We’re actively monitoring weather updates and river levels to ensure your journey and visit are as smooth as possible. Our team is ready to make adjustments if necessary to prioritise your safety and convenience.
"Our team is working closely with local authorities to manage the situation and provide clear guidance for all visitors.
"Conditions are set to improve and we are doing everything possible to ensure your Winter Fair experience is enjoyable despite today’s challenges. Stay tuned for updates, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you soon."
